The Brief
A young family had outgrown their tired 1930s semi but loved the road and the school catchment. They asked us to turn a dark warren of small rooms into a brighter, more functional family home — without losing the period character.
Our Approach
We opened up the rear with a structural steel, replastered throughout, rewired the ground floor and installed a new shaker kitchen with a six-metre island. Original cornicing was restored room by room; new oak engineered flooring runs through the hallway and reception.
The Outcome
The family moved back into a home that feels twice the size, with a kitchen that's already become the gathering spot for friends and family. Delivered in twelve weeks, on the original quote.
